ABOUT US

About Us

As a co-operative actors agency we believe in working as a community. We aim to support, develop and advise each other as both performers and agents and as equal peers. It is this ethos that has enabled the agency to grow year-on-year since we began over 35 years ago.

West Central clients can be seen in a multitude of feature films and TV series, including The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself', 'The Larkins', 'Britannia', 'Pennyworth', 'My Dinner With Hervé', 'Dungeons & Dragons', 'The Flash', 'Body of Water', 'The lost City of Z', the Academy Award-winning 'Darkest Hour' and both seasons of National Geographic's 'Genius' series.

Our clients' stage credits span West End theatre, including the RSC's 'King Lear' at the Barbican, 'Mr Foote's Other Leg' at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, 'Fidelio' at the Royal Opera House and other credits at venues including the Criterion, Hampstead, the King's Head, the Tabard, the Union and The Hope.

Some of our clients commercial work include Ladbrokes, Haribo, McDonalds, Amazon Prime, Yorkshire Tea, The National Lottery and ASDA.

We are members of the CPMA and Equity.

Representation

Our books are currently open for actors between 30 - 50, with a particular interest in the the global majority and diversity.

Please have a look at our current casting pool and think about where you might fit in. To ensure that we can represent our actors in the best way possible, we keep our books to a limited number.

We welcome diversity in all its forms. We are actively involved in a process of learning and growth to ensure we do the best job of representing anyone in our agency, whatever their background or needs. This includes having an Equality and Diversity committee, and regular reviews of our practices.

WHAT BEING PART OF A CO-OP MEANS

In an actors’ co-operative, all members contribute to the running of the agency. This includes working three days a month in the office and monthly meetings.

We look for actors who we think could represent us well, just as much as we consider how we could represent them.
