Professor Pomona Peabody is the Engineer/Geologist of the Antarctic expedition and inventor of the drill used to extract the samples.
Six years ago Miskatonic University sent a team of researchers to perform geological exploration of the Antarctic regions. Few of them returned. Today Willa Dyer will share the secrets of what really happened in those Mountains of Madness in order to avert a future disaster .. and the possible destruction of our species. The early newsreels seemed so promising ... what could have gone wrong?
Playwright T.L. Wiswell's reimagining of the classic H.P. Lovecraft tale moves the action to the 1920s and transforms the team into a group of female scientists who have witnessed horrors beyond the capability of humanity's frail minds. Director Lorenzo Peter Mason's production is inspired by a true love of Antarctic exploration of the early 20th century as well as a genuine passion for geology, cryptozoology paleontology, and the Cthulu mythos.
